Plato and the Stormlight Archive

In this video I'll explore the Platonic philosophy behind the epic high fantasy series, the Stormlight Archive, by Brandon Sanderson. This series includes three books currently: The Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, and Oathbringer. I explain briefly the difference between Plato and Aristotle's Metaphysics, Plotinus and Neoplatonism, and a general introduction to Idealism and Materialism. We'll also dive into three types of idealism (Objective, Subjective, and Transcendental Idealism) and one respective philosopher representing each (Hegel, Berkeley, and Kant).
